Trait for “extended key” types like xpub and xprv. Used internally to generalize parsing and handling of bip32::Xpub and bip32::Xpriv.

Returns the fingerprint of the key

fn can_derive_hardened() -> bool

Returns whether hardened steps can be derived on the key

true for bip32::Xpriv and false for bip32::Xpub.

Dyn Compatibility

This trait is not dyn compatible.
